Your Surgery Visit Instructions

Home | Your Surgery Visit Instructions

We want your experience with West Essex Oral Surgery to feel smooth, organized, and as stress-free as possible.

Below is a simple overview of what to expect—from your first contact with our office through recovery after your procedure—so you can feel confident every step of the way.

1

Complete Our Online Patient Registration

Save time by completing your forms before your visit. We encourage all patients to fill out our secure online Patient Registration Form prior to arriving at the office. Once submitted, your information is safely stored and available for your appointment. On your first visit, your completed forms will already be on file and ready for review. Protecting your personal and medical information is a top priority, and we take every measure to ensure your privacy.

2

Schedule Your Appointment

Appointments are available Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8AM to 5PM. As clinic demands grow, more days will be offered, so we appreciate your patience and support. You may request an appointment online or call our office at 978-242-0498 to schedule your appointment.

We’ll help answer questions, review scheduling options, and ensure your visit is planned efficiently.

3

The Day of Your Visit

Please review your pre-operative instructions carefully before arriving. If your appointment includes surgery, you may be required to avoid eating or drinking for a specific period beforehand. You will also need a responsible adult to accompany you to the office, remain during your procedure, and drive you home afterward.

If your visit is for a consultation only, these restrictions do not apply. Reviewing your instructions ahead of time helps ensure a safe and successful visit.

4

After Your Surgery

Some discomfort or swelling is normal during the first 24 hours after surgery. Following your post-operative instructions is essential for proper healing and a smooth recovery. These instructions will guide you on pain management, activity levels, oral care, and what to expect as you heal.

Our team is always available if questions arise during your recovery.
